Farm fresh food. Served at the farms.
One of the finest events of the Shekhawati festival is the interaction between organic farmers and tourists at the farm site. This was made possible by an organic lunch at the farms.

It is one thing to have farmers in Shekhawati to switch to organic cultivation, it is quite another to have farmers come face to face with the end customers from all over the world.

A traditional Rajasthani lunch is organised on the days of the festival by Morarka Organic for tourists and dignitaries. Tourists get food cooked from fresh organic produce that grows in farms surrounding the venue.

Imagine sitting in traditional wooden benches set out in the middle of a farm with a nine to twelve course organic spread. Imagine watching the very vegetables and grains growing around you even as you are tucking into them!

There is no better initiation into the organic world of Shekhawati, made possible by Morarka Organic, than an organic lunch at the farms. This way all get a first-hand experience of rural India and the organic revolution that has been changing their lives.
