•   Climate
        Shekhawati has a dry climate with hot summers, cold winters and a short monsoon. Winter starts by about the middle of November and continues till about the beginning of March. Summer follows thereafter and extends upto the end of June. The South-West monsoon season is from July to mid Sept. The period from mid-Sept. to mid-Nov. constitutes the post monsoon season.
         
        Temperature
        June is the hottest month of the year. The mean daily maximum temperature in this month is 41.1 C and the mean daily minimum temperature is 28.2 C. In May and June the heat is intense and on some days the maximum temperature rises upto about 46 C.

      After mid-November both day and night temperatures decreases rapidly till January, which is the coldest month. The mean daily maximum temperature of 22.5 C and the mean daily minimum temperature of 4.2 C was recorded in June 20, 1963 and that of the lowest minimum temperature recorded is -4 C on February 9, 1994.
         
       
      Rainfall
        The average annual rainfall in the Shekhawati is 455.5 mm. The rainfall increases from the North-West towards the South-East. During the South-West monsoon period the rainfall constitutes about 75% of the annual rainfall, July being the rainiest month. The variation in the rainfall from year to year is large; on an average there are 27 rainy days.
